Heather McLoud
Heather McLoud wedges writing in between work, graduate school, the demands of her two dogs, and the cat who believes he should be draped over her left wrist as she attempts to type. As a person with diverse interests, McLoud finds herself unable to stick to a single genre.
She has written three novels. “The Biome Sacrifices” is Young Adult Science Fiction. “Sage Courage” is horror/suspense. “Hippie, Soldier, Queer” is yet to be published. It explores the interconnected lives of three traumatized young adults in the early 1970’s. McLoud believes that although it may be love that makes the world go around, and music may be the universal language, it’s the way people cope with the trauma that makes a story riveting.
For a taste of death, explore McLoud’s short fiction: “Animal Comforts” is available in Pif magazine, and “Salvage” is in Flash Fiction Magazine.
